travel & containers

Just thinking about ways to efficientize [?] for traveling and hiking and stuff. I like the idea of having just the basics, & of being able to live on less. In home, but especially to stretch that concept in necessity when traveling.

My friends and I once went hiking on a fanny pack — not only to obviously look awesome but to see how little we could bring.  it was a good test for seeing what you can live without & what you don’t want to.

So, I’m working at an office right now and just answering phones that aren’t ringing, & I’m trying to think about this packing problem.

I drew out actual size outlines of the things i’d need and then guestimated the area of space it’d take up.

Then I typed this up and the formatting’s off, but the list is followed by approx. dimensions. Here’s what I have so far:
